A musical inspired by antient traditional manuscripts, but with the freshness of a modern show.
The dancers, musicians and singers all come from a top theatrical school of Campania.
They include the public in the show and at the end of it you feel like you are part of the town of Sorrento.
The work and festivities of the Sorrento peninsular are reconstructed in a show lasting 75 minutes which recounts the story of dance, costume and music of Naples in four different scenes.

Act I
The first scene represents the sea. The view shows the Gulf from Marina Grande to Punta Scutolo. Fishermen prepare for their daily work and thanks to songs such as Piscatore ‘e Pusilleco, Marechiaro and Michelemmà, their hard labor is lightened.
Act II
The MARKET already has its own music, made of rumors and stories. While shopping in the square, people tell stories of falling in love and jealousy. Courtships and quarrels are mixed with the rhythm and the steps of the Tarantella dance. Songs framing the scene include: A città e Pullecenella, Caruso, Santa Lucia, ‘O paese do’ sole…
Act III
At sunset, with Vesuvius on the horizon, love is the only song to be sung. The landscapes which inspired the famous writers of the “Grand Tour” (from Goethe to Wagner, from Nietzsche to Croce) express their eternal charm through the songs that were written here: ‘O sole mio, ‘O sapore de’ cerase.
Act IV
The musical ends with a festive atmosphere. The square adorned with lights, the sky illuminated with fireworks, and everyone is captivated by the rhythm of dance (Tarantella Rossini) and sing of their joy for life (Comme facette mammeta and Funiculì funicula) ready to face tomorrow with its passions, its love and its work.

The show runs from 1st April through 31st October, upon request from 1st November to 31st march in two different versions.
